Anneke started her complimentary health journey as a customer in the year 2000, and has used some form of complimentary therapy with her children and animals since then.

Her formal education includes a bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy, a 4 year degree with a large clinical component attached to it (graduated in 2018). As part of her naturopathy degree she has gained in-depth knowledge of herbal medicine, homeopathics, tissue salts and flower essences.

Her experience in essential oils have been largely self education, starting with the safe use of aromatherapy with her children and pets. Since completing Dr Roark’s Animal Aromatherapy Specialist Certification, she has started to incorporate essential oils in her practice, adding it as a tool to her holistic approach to health.

She holds additional qualifications on species appropriate diets for dogs and is currently enrolled in a diploma of complimentary medicine for small and large animals, as well as various bodywork courses. She is also a level 2 Reiki practitioner (Usui) trained in human and equine reiki.

She is very drawn to the energetic components of healing and believes that if we give the body the correct support, it will help to find health and healing on a cellular level. She sees mainly dogs, cats and horses, although she has helped a few chickens and the odd ratite, that has found its way into the family fold.

Anneke has horses, dogs, cats and chickens currently, but has had guinea pigs, rats and bunnies in the past. Anneke is passionate about all creatures and helping to give them a voice is one of her main missions. Opening up avenues to help animals complimentary to the main stream options is making a difference in the lives of the animals that she has supported over the years.
