Bonnie is a lifelong animal lover which began when she was born in to a generational farm family. Bonnie has a strong passion for the human-animal bond between all types of pets and their people. She has experience with several breeds of horses as well as dogs, and dogs coming from a variety of backgrounds.

Bonnie is now a full-time dog trainer and a former mental health professional familiar with the impact of emotional states on physical well being in pets and humans alike. Bonnie feels a close connection to nature – When Bonnie was a young child, her mother frequently wrote to her “Isn’t it a beautiful day God has given us.” Bonnie has a heart of compassion and nurturance – when combined with the power of what nature can provide through essential oils, becoming a Certified Animal Aromatherapist was a natural fit!

Bonnie has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree and professional license in Social Work. She has 17 years experience with people, 10 of those years with dogs. Bonnie is committed to humane, ethical and rewards/relationship based training approaches and promoting the lifelong bond between pets and their people through meaningful activities such as dog sports and therapy dog work. She has a unique ability to observe and interpret what animals are communicating through their demeanor, behaviors and interactions with people and other animals and utilizes this to provide optimal care to those receiving her services.

Bonnie offers remote appointments via Zoom and Email. In-person consultations are available for those near Warsaw, MO including Lake Ozark, Osage Beach, Linn Creek, Camdenton, Edwards, Climax Springs, Sunrise Beach, Cole Camp, Versailles, Stover, Sedalia, Lincoln.
