Kathryn McLean is the founder of Holistic Ark and is committed to helping animals and their humans achieve harmony and health through animal communication, Reiki, crystals, and essential oils.

Kathy comes from a hospitality background, working as a chef for 25 years before moving into business and office management. Kathy has been doing Reiki for over 20 years and has a passion to heal humans and non-humans. Kathy has a bachelor’s degree in Adult Education and Applied Counseling.

Animals have always been part of her life through family farms, pets and show dogs. After a near-death experience in July 2020, Kathy realized office management wasn’t her true passion. This lead her to the animal communication and healing field and the creation of Holistic Ark.

Kathy’s love of essential oils and alternative medicine inspired her to find ways help animals using essential oils and herbal remedies. She became a Certified Animal Aromatherapy Specialist and continues to study advanced animal aromatherapy with veterinarian Dr. Janet Roark. Kathy is looking forward to being able to incorporate essential oils into her pet treats and healing tool bag.
