Shelayne has been an advocate for animals from an early age.  She has worked with animals at varying capacities for over 50 years.  In her lifetime she has had the blessing of having dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, parakeets, finches, raccoons, squirrels, horses, and freshwater fish in her household.

Shelayne holds a B.A. from the University of South Carolina. She lived abroad for over 30 years, 28 of which were in India where she embraced holistic health.

She currently owns and runs a professional pet sitting service, All Things Pets LLC, in North Carolina which she founded almost ten years ago. She is very hands on and many of her clients call her often for advice on their pets. She is known by many as the Pet Nana.

Shelayne is Fear Free Certified.  In addition to being a Certified Professional Pet Sitter with Pet Sitters International she has certificates in:  Animal Care, Puppy care, Cat and Kitten Care, Pet First Aid and CPR,  Botanical Remedies for Pets, Pet Nutrition, Animal Psychology, Animal Physical Therapy, Senior Pet Care, Animal Physical Care, Acupressure,  as well as Dog Behavior and Training.

Shelayne received certification at AromaHead Institute for Essential Oil Specialist and Anatomy and Physiology culminating in her graduation as a Certified Aromatherapist.

Shelayne is a level two graduate of Dr. Roark’s Animal Aromatherapy Specialist Certification (AASC).

She is an Aromatherapist Practitioner and owns Healthy Oils for All, LLC, an aromatherapy and animal aromatherapy practice. Healthy Oils For All is insured and bonded.
