Dr. Tomoyo Yasuda is a Japanese veterinarian in Tokyo. She graduated from the the Rakuno Gakuen University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 and worked at an animal hospital for 7 years. Her training specialized in Anesthesia and Internal Medicine.

However, she could not save her cat and lost her confidence as a vet. She realized how important it is to prevent our pets from getting sick in the first place.

Dr. Yasuda used to be afraid to use essential oils with animals. But after her cat’s death, she began to learn the benefits of essential oils. As she learned from Dr. Janet Roark and saw the dogs and cats around her getting well miraculously because of essential oils, she began to gain confidence. She earned her Animal Aromatherapy Specialist Certification in 2021.

Her cat’s death was the hardest thing she has ever dealt with in her life. Now she believes that this is the last thing her cat taught her—to make so many animals and pet owners happy as her mission. And she believes she can do it!

Dr. Yasuda is also licensed by the Board Certification of Therapy Japanese Society of Anti-Aging Medicine. In a world where both humans and animals are becoming aging societies, how we end our lives is very important. “How to die” is probably as important a theme in life as “how to live”. Anti-aging medicine and essential oils have a very close relationship, and she hopes to be able to help more people and animals by learning about both. Her big dream is to build an animal shelter one day.
